China factory labels and manuals for your market
Give the factory a destination-specific pack containing buyer-approved wording, translations, label positions and manual files. Approve a physical proof, then compare production goods with that reference before shipment to your port. Coordinate factory execution through Cambridge China Bridge.

Start with your destination brief
Tell us where the goods will be sold and the port they will ship to from China. Ask your own customs broker to confirm destination rules, and have your competent product adviser approve the label and manual requirements. Record the agreed languages, wording, symbols, entity details and placement instructions. Leave unresolved questions open and hold printing until they are answered.
The factory brief should identify your destination rather than simply request an overseas version. Ask the factory to flag every difference between its existing print pack and your approved requirements. Use our label review guide for the content-checking method; this guide adds the handover and production controls for your destination.
Build a pack for each destination variant
Create a variant sheet linking each destination and language to the ordered model, product label, retail box, manual and shipping-carton identifier. Give each file a revision and name its approver. Mark fixed wording separately from batch fields that the factory will populate. Keep factory working translations separate from the text approved for printing.
Send a placement drawing showing where each label goes and which manual belongs in each box. Ask the factory to acknowledge the complete pack and list any proposed changes before quoting or printing. Our product development service can help coordinate the product, packaging and instruction files.
Approve meaning before approving layout
Have a reviewer fluent in the destination language and familiar with the product check the translation against the approved source text. Agree terminology for controls, parts and actions across labels and manuals. Ask the reviewer to record corrections and unresolved meanings. Machine translation can provide a draft, but give a named reviewer responsibility for the final wording.
Freeze approved text before layout and check it again in the factory's rendered proof. Look for missing characters, broken text direction, altered punctuation and captions separated from illustrations. Our multilingual label guide addresses UK sales; use it for translation workflow ideas and have your adviser settle your destination requirements.
Check a physical proof with the actual product
Request a physical label, assembled box and complete manual using the intended print material and process. Record any differences from planned production. Check the fitted label, readable text, page order, folds and language identification. Use our artwork approval guide for print-file and proof controls.
Have a reader follow the destination-language manual with the actual product and supplied accessories, without coaching from the factory. Record unclear actions, mismatched illustrations and missing parts using the instruction testing guide. Send safety-content questions back to your competent adviser. Coordinate any separately specified product tests through our testing and certification service.
Check production and retain the evidence
Release printing in writing against the approved files and physical proof. Require renewed approval for changes to text, layout or product configuration. Ask the factory how it will separate destination variants and withdraw obsolete print stock. Carry the variant sheet into the inspection brief so checks cover the product label, box and manual inside, rather than only the outer carton.
Ask Cambridge China Bridge's own staff in China to compare production output with the approved references. Retain photographs of fitted labels and opened packs, manual copies, batch identifiers and inspection findings. Keep affected stock on hold when variants are mixed or wording differs, and check the agreed correction before shipment. Evidence of matching print output does not replace your adviser's destination review.
Frequently asked questions
Can a UK sourcing company arrange labels for my country?
Yes. Give Cambridge China Bridge a destination-specific brief approved by your competent adviser. Confirm destination rules with your own customs broker, then approve the factory's print pack and physical proof.
Can the factory translate my manual?
Ask the factory to prepare a draft if appropriate, but appoint a reviewer fluent in the destination language and familiar with the product. Approve the meaning and then check the text in the final layout.
Can I use stickers instead of printing new packaging?
Ask your adviser and customs broker to confirm whether your proposed approach suits the destination. If approved, specify the sticker text, material and position, then check adhesion and readability on a physical sample.
How do I stop the factory packing the wrong manual?
Link each destination variant to its approved manual and packaging files. Agree stock separation and packing checks, then inspect opened production packs against the variant sheet before shipment.
