A one-page summary for procurement, finance and management teams. You contract with a UK company, pay in pounds and receive a UK VAT invoice; our own staff in China find and check the factory, follow production and inspect the goods before they ship.

Who we are
- Cambridge China Bridge is the trading name of Piggy Pineapple Ltd, a UK company registered in England and Wales, in Cambridge and London.
- Buying from Chinese factories since 2021, for our own businesses and for clients on the same terms.
- Our own staff are based in China, at two bases: the Pearl River Delta (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan) and the Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu). They visit factories themselves.
From enquiry to delivery

| 2Supplier search and verification | Our staff in China shortlist factories that already make similar products and check their identity, ownership, production capability, capacity and any subcontracted processes. | What we found for each factory, including whether it is a factory or a trading company, and a factory-audit report to the agreed scope where one is needed. |
| 3Samples | Samples are made and checked against the brief; for engineered parts, first-article measurements are agreed. Production starts only after you approve a sample. | Samples sent to you; the approved sample is kept as the reference for production and inspection. |

Payment and contracting
- You contract with a UK company under English law, so your recourse is with a UK company.
- You pay in pounds sterling to a UK bank account and receive a UK VAT invoice.
- You do not need to be the importer: the factory, the shipping and UK customs are handled on our side.
- £0 sourcing fee or commission on the goods order; our margin is in the quoted landed price. An itemised quote showing the factory price and our margin separately, or a direct import with us as your agent, is available.
- Audits and inspections are usually included in the quote for an order placed with us; complex checks that need a third party are charged extra, agreed first.
- The factory's own sample charge, courier costs, extra travel you ask for and third-party testing are passed on at cost, agreed in writing first.
- No minimum order on our side; the factory's own minimum applies separately.
- If your contract requires a specific insurance cover, we put it in place before the order starts.
