Monthly gift kits and subscription boxes, assembled in China
Cambridge China Bridge runs monthly kit programmes for UK gift-box, subscription and promotional brands. Our own staff in China receive the components from several suppliers, check them, hold them in storage, pack them into your branded boxes to an agreed layout and ship the finished kits in bulk to one UK address, month after month.
We reply the same working day to confirm receipt and arrange next steps.
What you get
- Components from several suppliers, such as factories, 1688 and Alibaba sellers, received and checked by our own staff in China before assembly.
- Kits packed to your approved layout: branded box, inserts, cards and tissue, checked against a signed-off sample kit.
- Components held in storage between runs, so each month's kits are packed from stock rather than reordered from scratch.
- Monthly volumes planned with you, for example 100 kits, then 250 or 500 as the programme grows, with reorder points for each component.
- Finished kits shipped in bulk to one UK address, your warehouse or fulfilment partner. We do not post to individual subscribers.
- Items that need extra checks are flagged before they go into a kit, such as cosmetics, balms and mists, food, aerosols, batteries and children's items.
- Quotes to suit how you buy: a price per finished kit delivered, or an itemised quote showing components, assembly, storage, freight and our service fee.
How it works
- Send the kit contents, with links or samples, your box and insert artwork, the monthly volume and the UK delivery address.
- We confirm each component's supplier, minimum and lead time, check compliance points and quote a price per finished kit.
- We make a sample kit for your sign-off, photographed and sent to you.
- Each month our staff in China receive and check the components, assemble the kits to the approved layout and pack them in export cartons.
- The kits ship together, clear UK customs and are delivered to your address; we report stock left for the next run.
Cambridge China Bridge in brief
- Buying from Chinese factories since 2021 (the company was incorporated in September 2022), for our own businesses and for clients on the same terms.
- Our own staff are based in China, at two bases: the Pearl River Delta (Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Dongguan) and the Yangtze River Delta (Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu). They visit factories themselves.
- Quotes to suit how you buy: one delivered price, or an itemised quote with the factory cost, freight, duty and our service fee shown separately. Open-book detail is available on request.
- Audits and inspections are usually included in the quote for an order placed with us; complex checks that need a third party are charged extra, agreed first.
- Orders run from a first trial to scheduled full containers; the factory’s own minimum is stated in the quote.
- In one project, a UK EV charging operator cut unit cost by 70% and scaled 3× faster. In another, a multi-site Cambridge café chain saved 50% on packaging.
- A UK company in Cambridge and London: Cambridge China Bridge is the trading name of Piggy Pineapple Ltd, company number 14385590.
- Send 1–3 products you buy now and what you pay. We compare the same specification, quantity, inspection and delivery scope to establish a cost benchmark.
- A reference call with a past client can be arranged, with that client’s agreement.
How we charge
Quotes to suit how you buy: one delivered price, or an itemised quote with the factory cost, freight, duty and our service fee shown separately. Open-book detail is available on request.
Our margin is included in the quoted price or shown separately as a service fee. The service fee depends on the agreed scope, including products, samples, inspections and ongoing supply.
Questions buyers ask
Can you send kits to our individual subscribers?
No. Finished kits go in bulk to one UK address, such as your warehouse or a fulfilment partner, who sends them on to subscribers. That keeps customs, VAT and returns simple.
Can the kit include cosmetics or food?
Often, but those items are checked first: cosmetics need a UK Responsible Person and a safety assessment, and food has its own labelling and import rules. We flag these before an item goes into a kit.
How do you keep each month's kits the same?
Every run is packed to a signed-off sample kit and layout, and our staff check components on receipt and finished kits before they are sealed, with photos sent to you.
What does a kit programme cost?
It depends on the components, the box, the monthly volume and storage time. We quote a price per finished kit delivered, or an itemised quote, before anything is ordered.
