Cheap marketplace listing: complete item or accessory?
Select the exact variant, then match its description, pack quantity, dimensions and included parts to what you need. Ask the seller to resolve contradictions before paying. Save the selected listing, basket and checkout details with the written reply. For sourcing checks in China, contact Cambridge China Bridge.

Check what the variant menu actually selects
Treat the headline price and main photograph as starting points. Open every option menu and read the selected labels. A menu labelled colour or style may contain choices for a cover, stand, replacement part or complete product. Look for wording such as accessory only, case only, without battery or empty housing, including text embedded in images.
After changing a choice, check the price, photograph and description again. If the photograph still shows a complete product while the selected label names an accessory, ask the seller exactly what will arrive. Do not use reviews of another variant as confirmation of yours.
Separate order quantity from pack contents
Find out what the seller means by item, piece, pair, set and pack. The quantity control tells you how many sale units you are ordering; the contents description should explain what each sale unit contains. Ask whether the displayed price buys the complete assembly, a component, or a pack of components.
Write down the contents of each sale unit and the total contents expected at your chosen order quantity. Ask whether mixed colours or sizes are supplied as an assortment or selected individually. Compare complete usable items rather than headline prices. Our marketplace cost comparison covers the wider cost comparison.
Match dimensions and included parts
Check whether measurements describe the assembled product, an accessory, the usable internal space or the packaging. Confirm the measurement units and ask for a labelled drawing if the listing is ambiguous. For a fitted cover or replacement part, check the mating model, shape, mounting points and connector details; a similar photograph is insufficient.
Ask for a contents photograph and a written included/excluded list for your selected variant. Check the main body, base, lid, fixings, cables, power supply and other parts needed for your intended use. Separate display props from supplied parts. If you need a factory quotation, carry these details into the product specification guide.
Get a reply tied to your selection
Send the seller the listing address and a screenshot with every option selected. Ask: does this selection supply the complete item shown, or only an accessory? Please confirm the supplied parts, excluded parts, dimensions and contents per sale unit. Keep the reply in the marketplace conversation so it stays connected to the enquiry.
If the reply contradicts the basket or listing, ask the seller to correct the order details before paying. Pause if they cannot identify what your selection supplies. Official product-safety advice also recommends stopping and contacting the seller or marketplace when something seems wrong.
Save the checkout selection and check arrival
Before paying, capture the selected variant labels, seller identity, listing identifier, description, contents and dimensions. Save the basket and final checkout screen showing the choices, quantity, price and delivery destination. Record the date and keep the seller’s confirmation alongside them. A saved link alone does not preserve the options you selected.
After ordering, save the confirmation and compare it with your checkout record. On arrival, photograph the packaging and unpacked contents, then reconcile them against that record before allocating stock. For repeat orders or assembled kits, use the bundle packing and stock guide to turn the confirmed contents into ongoing checks.
Frequently asked questions
Why is the marketplace price so cheap?
The displayed price may relate to an accessory, a smaller variant or a different pack. Select the configuration you need, then confirm its contents before comparing prices.
Does the main photo show everything I will receive?
Do not assume it does. Ask which pictured parts belong to your selected variant and which are props or optional extras. Save the seller’s written confirmation.
Does the quantity box count pieces or packs?
Confirm the sale unit with the seller. Match the order quantity to the contents per sale unit, then write down the total parts or complete items you expect.
What should I save before paying?
Save the selected options, listing description, seller identity, contents, dimensions, basket and final checkout screen. Keep the dated seller reply and order confirmation with them.
