Start with the part and its manufacturing route
Send a controlled drawing revision, material grade, finish, annual and first-order quantities, intended use, critical features and receiving location. A factory that makes sheet-metal enclosures is not automatically the right factory for a turned shaft or casting. We can assess the equipment and subcontracted processes actually needed for your part before treating a quoted price as comparable.
Flag safety-critical or regulated use at the outset. Your engineering and compliance owners decide the applicable standards and acceptance criteria; a factory's general quality-system certificate does not approve a particular component.

Agree the report and release path
Agree whether our team, a China-based inspection organisation or an independent third party will issue each report. A factory-audit report should name the site, date, scope, observations, evidence, limitations and follow-up actions; it is not a certification. A first-article report should identify the drawing revision, measured features, result and the signatory. The buyer retains approval of deviations, samples and production release.
The manufacturer normally arranges laboratory material or performance tests. We can check document scope and batch traceability, while the buyer and any required independent specialist decide whether the evidence is sufficient. Keep the agreed inspection points and report issuer in the purchase brief, not only in email after production starts.
Primary supplier, second factory or incumbent management
For two containers per quarter or another repeat schedule, we can quote ongoing primary supply and coordinate the chosen factory, sampling, production checks and shipment. A second-source project is an easier first comparison when your incumbent is still producing: qualify one product family against the approved drawing before deciding whether to move volume. We can also manage checks at a factory you already own the relationship with.
Send drawings under your confidentiality process, the current part or approved sample, annual usage, forecast by shipment, required reports, destination and target date. We agree the scope and price before work starts.
