The UK Trade Tariff attaches a supplementary-unit import entry to 8517 14 00 00; confirm its declaration requirement with your customs broker. Specify room audio and the telephone connection
Specify whether the unit makes calls independently or works through a connected computer. Agree the telephone service, network connection, power arrangement, microphone extensions and supplied cables. Test speech from the intended seating positions, including simultaneous speech, background noise and mute operation. Approve the hardware revision and firmware together.
For wired models sold in Great Britain, confirm the applicable electromagnetic-compatibility, importer identification, hazardous-substance and declaration-retention requirements with the relevant authority. The customs value is £3,000. Duty at 0% is £0. Import VAT at 20% is charged on the customs value plus duty, £3,000, so it is £600.
