Start with the certificate of conformity
The official certification law states that advertising or selling products without a certificate of conformity is prohibited. Make the certification route your opening question before choosing a Chinese factory: send your own Turkmen customs broker the product description, intended use, materials and model details.
Ask the broker to confirm the applicable scope, certification body, applicant and supporting evidence for your goods. Obtain written instructions before approving production. Treat a factory's existing certificates as documents to assess, rather than assuming they settle your Turkmen certification arrangements.
Agree what your own broker handles
Agree that your broker will confirm the final entry, including classification, customs value, duties, taxes and any product-specific permissions. For arrival, give them responsibility for preparing the declaration, submitting the agreed documents, answering customs queries and coordinating certification and release.
The published product-certification procedure says applicant documents must be in the state language or translated into it through the prescribed procedure. Ask the broker to agree translation arrangements and the document checklist before dispatch, then review draft paperwork together.
Prepare the factory and UK seller documents together
We coordinate the commercial invoice and packing list with the Chinese factory and the agreed selling arrangement. Ask your broker to approve the invoice issuer, buyer and consignee details, product descriptions, currency and delivery term. Match carton quantities, weights and model references across the documents.
For the certificate of origin, agree whether it is needed, who will arrange its issue and the format your broker wants. Check the supplier and inspect before shipment
Our own staff in China check the supplier's business identity, production location and ability to make the specified goods. We compare the proposed factory, payment recipient, sample and supporting reports, and investigate inconsistencies before recommending that you proceed.
Agree the inspection brief against the approved sample and written specification. Before shipment, check workmanship, functions, quantities, packaging and agreed labels, and record defects with photographs. Settle corrective action and any reinspection before authorising dispatch. Factory audits and inspections are usually included in the quote; complex checks that need a third party are charged separately and agreed in advance.

Turkmenistan is landlocked. We quote to the seaport or border point you name, with the onward leg agreed separately. Specify the exact terminal or crossing, delivery term, handover point and responsibility for unloading, transit arrangements and destination charges.
