Start with your importer registration
Sierra Leone’s Ministry of Trade and Industry states that all importers must register with the National Revenue Authority and obtain a Taxpayer Identification Number. Give your own broker the arrival work
The NRA’s customs clearance guide describes the importer hiring a licensed clearing agent. Appoint your own broker in Sierra Leone before ordering and agree responsibility for classification, valuation, the customs declaration, payment arrangements, inspection queries and release coordination. Agree the document pack before shipment
