Check the importing business before placing an order
Start by asking your Moldovan customs broker to verify the importing business's foreign economic activity registration and identify who will make the declaration. Send the product description, materials, intended use and proposed route so the broker can review the order before you commit to production.

Name the seaport or border point in the quote
Moldova is landlocked. We quote to the seaport or border point you name, with the onward leg agreed separately. Ask the quotation to identify freight, insurance, unloading, destination handling and the precise handover point, rather than using a general description such as delivery to Moldova.

Give your broker a clear arrival brief
Moldova's official guidance states that customs clearance is based on a customs declaration. Appoint your own broker to prepare and lodge the entry, review classification and valuation, confirm applicable duties and taxes, and coordinate responses to customs questions. Your broker confirms the final entry for your goods.
Before production, ask the broker for a written checklist covering any product certificates, registrations, permits, label wording and supporting reports. Agree the document pack before shipment
The official import-document page lists the commercial invoice among commercial documents. Agree who issues the transaction invoice under your buying arrangement. Check the supplier and the finished goods in China
Our own staff in China check the supplier's identity, production location, equipment and ability to make the agreed product. We compare samples with the written specification and review whether the reports supplied relate to the proposed materials and model. Ask us to record any subcontracting and unresolved evidence gaps.
Before shipment, agree inspection checks for quantity, dimensions, workmanship, function, packaging and approved label artwork. We report defects and coordinate corrections for your release decision. Factory audits and inspections are usually included in the quote; complex checks that need a third party are charged separately and agreed in advance.
