Importing from China to Bahrain: Importer registration
Start with the Bahrain importer's registration: the official Ofoq user-request form requires a valid commercial registration copy. Have your own broker confirm the product requirements and final entry before shipment. Cambridge China Bridge coordinates Chinese factories, inspection and pricing to your Bahrain port.

Start with a valid commercial registration
For a commercial order, establish who will import the goods in Bahrain before paying the factory. The official Ofoq user-request form states: “Valid CR. Copy required”. Ask your own customs broker to check the proposed importer's registration and confirm the account and authorisation arrangements for your shipment.
Send the broker the product description, intended use, materials, model details and photographs. Request a written checklist covering applicable approvals, certification and labels before approving production. Our overseas buying guide explains the wider procurement arrangement; this guide adds the Bahrain registration and document handover.
Check the Bahrain product route before production
Bahrain's Ministry of Industry and Commerce list gives children's toys a GCC type examination certificate requirement for each imported type, alongside an importer's declaration of conformity. If you are buying toys, have your broker confirm the exact scope and evidence needed before choosing the factory.
For other products, ask the broker to identify the applicable Bahrain route and review proposed test reports and label artwork. If you also sell into neighbouring markets, use the Saudi Arabia guide and UAE guide as separate planning checklists. Ask for Bahrain-specific confirmation for this order.
Agree the factory and sourcing document pack
We agree the document pack with you and your broker before ordering. The Chinese factory supplies product descriptions, manufacturing details, packing data and existing test reports. We coordinate the commercial invoice and packing list, arrange the certificate of origin as agreed, and collect the agreed test reports. Ask the broker to confirm acceptable issuers, formats and any authentication before documents are issued.
For a UK-company sale shipped directly from China, send the proposed invoice chain to your broker for review. Check seller, buyer, consignee, goods descriptions, quantities, weights and origin across the documents. Match test reports to the actual manufacturer, model and ordered specification. Our buy-through-UK-company service explains the purchasing arrangement.
Check the supplier and inspect before shipment
Our own staff in China check the proposed supplier's identity, production location and ability to make the specified goods. We compare the supplier's claimed manufacturing work with what is available to inspect, record sample approval and agree how proposed material or component changes will be handled.
Before shipment, we inspect against the agreed specification and approved sample, checking workmanship, agreed functions, quantities, packaging and label artwork. We report findings and follow up agreed corrections. Keep the inspection report and conformity evidence together, and ask the broker to review the document pack before dispatch.

Separate port pricing from arrival clearance
Ask us for a quotation to your named Bahrain port, with the delivery term and insurance scope stated. Request separate lines or clear inclusions for goods, freight, documentation and any testing. Identify destination handling, brokerage, duties, taxes and onward delivery so you can compare the total purchasing cost.
Agree that your own Bahrain customs broker checks classification and valuation, prepares the entry, coordinates any examination and release, and confirms the final entry and amounts payable. Ofoq's declaration guidance says its assessment notice displays the detailed calculation of duties and taxes payable by the importer. Request that calculation and retain the clearance records.
