Choose the packaging route before asking for a unit price
A small brand testing a product may need a stock-size box with a printed label or insert. A repeat buyer may justify a custom structure and full print run. Ask for both options with each design's quantity, setup cost, sample charge, packed carton dimensions and lead time. A lower unit price is not a saving if the unused minimum order fills a storeroom.
This is a proposed buying workflow, not a claim that a particular factory will accept a low minimum. The buyer must approve any packaging artwork and product claims. Send the actual product dimensions and protection requirement, not just a picture of another box.
Make the proof inspectable
Agree the print and construction specification before authorising the run. Keep the signed proof, artwork revision and physical sample as the inspection reference.

Inspect the run and settle responsibilities
For a repeat order, compare a production sample to the signed proof and check print placement, scuffs, glue, folds, quantities and packing before release. We can coordinate factory selection, print-quality checks, production and pre-shipment inspection; the agreed report names its issuer and the buyer approves any deviation. A standalone audit without a goods order is quoted separately.
For UK sales, packaging extended producer responsibility may apply to a business that supplies or imports packaging or packaged goods. The UK importer should assess its own obligations; a sourcing quotation is not a compliance determination. Buyers outside the UK get the same sourcing and QC service, with delivery to the agreed port and door-to-door only when available for that destination.

Who signs off the artwork and print result?
