Start with the Jordanian importer's card
Jordan Customs instructs authorities to ensure that the importer is registered on the electronic importer-card system linked to Jordanian customs. Before committing to a Chinese factory, ask your own customs broker to check the proposed importer's registration and confirm the route applicable to your shipment.

Check test reports before approving production
JSMO lists a condition for accepting external test reports: the report must represent the incoming goods and identify the model, brand, manufacturer and standard number. Compare those details with the product you are actually ordering before relying on a factory's report.
Ask your broker or relevant assessment specialist to confirm whether existing reports are suitable and what further evidence is needed. Send proposed labels and packaging for review before printing. Agree the factory and UK seller's documents
Make a document schedule part of the order. We coordinate the commercial invoice for our sale with the Chinese factory's packing list, arrange the certificate of origin where needed and collect agreed test reports. Ask your broker to approve the document set and confirm any original, translation or certification arrangements before dispatch.
Keep seller, manufacturer, importer and consignee details distinct. Cross-check product descriptions, models, quantities, carton marks, weights and origin across the paperwork. Check the supplier and inspect the actual order
Our staff in China can check the supplier's identity, manufacturing location, equipment and ability to make your specification. We compare samples and production records with the agreed product and flag proposed subcontracting or component changes for your decision.
Before shipment, we inspect the agreed scope against the approved sample and written specification, including workmanship, function, quantities, labels and packing. Separate the port quote from arrival clearance
Ask us to quote to your named Jordanian port, such as Aqaba, with the shipping term and inclusions written down. Identify freight, insurance, destination handling, clearance, duties, taxes and onward delivery as separate lines. Ask explicitly which are included and which your local providers will charge.
Appoint your own Jordanian customs broker to handle arrival clearance: confirm the final entry, classification and valuation, submit the declaration, coordinate any authority queries or examinations and advise on payments and release.
