Start with conformity certification at origin
Iraq's Ministry of Planning describes licensing inspection and conformity certification in the country of origin for goods supplied to Iraq. The Ministry of Justice also publishes an announcement about updating the list of imported goods subject to inspection and conformity certificates. Make coverage of your exact product the gate before committing to production.
Send your Iraqi customs broker the product description, materials, use, model and proposed entry port. Ask for written confirmation of the applicable conformity route, the body authorised to handle it and the evidence to prepare in China. Agree completion before dispatch as a purchasing condition.

Prepare the factory and shipment document file
Agree the document responsibilities before paying. The Chinese factory supplies product descriptions, packing details and available test reports. We coordinate the commercial invoice, packing list and certificate of origin arrangements with the seller and exporter, and collect the agreed product evidence. Ask your broker to approve drafts and confirm any authentication arrangements before dispatch.
Reconcile the buyer, seller, consignee, models, quantities, weights and package descriptions across the file. Check that test reports identify the goods actually ordered. Treat this as a preparation file for broker review; ask the broker to confirm the final document set for your product and entry port.
Check the supplier and inspect the production goods
Our staff in China check the supplier's business identity, production location and ability to make the agreed goods. Reconcile the quotation, contracting party and payment beneficiary. Agree the specification and retain an approved sample before production, including packaging and label artwork for your broker to review.
Before shipment, inspect production goods against the agreed sample and specification, recording workmanship, dimensions, function, quantities and packaging as appropriate. Review report-to-model matching separately. Keep the purchase inspection and the conformity work as separate deliverables in the order, with written responsibility for resolving failures before release.
