For neat erucamide, the candidate line is 2924 19 00 90, other acyclic amides and their derivatives. Its third-country duty for goods from China is 6%. The table describes purchasing forms under this same candidate line, rather than separate tariff lines.

The supplied record shows no anti-dumping or countervailing duty on this line. It records substance-specific suspensions to 0%, which should not be assumed to cover erucamide. It also attaches an export control for waste. For film use, specify the resin, processing conditions, additive loading and conditioning procedure. Agree checks for friction, blocking, haze, printing and sealing using your formulation. Approve a production-batch sample against these checks before accepting bulk supply.

What goes wrong

A sample passes, but the delivered batch has a different impurity profile or particle form. Damp or damaged bags cause handling problems, while a generic analysis sheet hides batch variation. Hold affected stock separately and compare retained and delivered samples before releasing it to production.

A friction result taken immediately after film production may not represent later performance. Changing the resin, additive loading or conditioning can also alter the outcome. Keep trial conditions consistent and assess printing and sealing alongside slip. Do not treat a supplier's food-contact claim as sufficient evidence for your finished packaging.
