Brief a range, not one sample

Send each SKU, size and colour with its own forecast and first-order quantity. Include material grades, hardware and stitching requirements, branding, packaging, destination and quarterly call-off plan. We can compare factories for the entire range or qualify a second source against an approved incumbent specification. Neither one container nor several SKUs removes a manufacturer's minimum for each production setup.

Ask each factory to price the same approved specification at the trial quantity and expected repeat volume. Keep factory price, tooling, sampling, inspection, freight and UK import roles visible in the commercial quote. A simple delivered price is available when that is the right buying structure; direct-import and destination-port structures can also be scoped.

Release samples, production and the container separately

Approve a physical reference across the size range, then agree which pull-strength, seam, hardware, colour and material checks apply to that product. The manufacturer or an agreed laboratory provides test evidence, and the UK importer decides what is sufficient for its product.

Before production, agree who issues any factory-audit or first-article report. During production and before shipment, inspect against the approved sample and written acceptance criteria. For a mixed-SKU full container, agree carton identities, counts, loading sequence, photographs and seal record; the container-loading checklist shows the buyer release questions. A failed check needs a correction and reinspection decision before loading, not an automatic shipment approval.

Send the first RFQ

Send 5–10 representative SKUs, annual and first-order volumes, the approved sample or specification, required test documents, artwork, target delivery date and UK destination. Say whether you need us as the primary supplier, a second factory or manager of your present factory. We will scope the factory search, checks, quote and reporting roles for that brief.
