How do I check and pay my PackUK notice?
Open your notice in the report packaging data portal, check the charge breakdown against your submitted data, and follow its payment dates and bank details. Contact customer support to arrange a payment plan unless paying by direct debit. Cambridge China Bridge can help collect factory packaging records for your checks.

Find the notice and confirm access
Your notice arrives through the report packaging data portal. The primary contact receives an email when it is available. To change that contact, log into your account and resubmit your registration data. Download the notice and give finance access to the document.
PackUK never sends payment links by email. Open the portal independently rather than following an emailed payment request. If you are still checking whether you have obligations, start with our UK packaging EPR guide.
Check what you are being charged
The notice includes the disposal fee calculation, public information costs, scheme administration costs and impairment fees. The disposal calculation uses reported household packaging weight and type, including any packaging waste off-set and environmental modulation. Impairment fees cover amounts PackUK cannot collect from other producers.
Compare the packaging entries with your submitted records and keep a note of discrepancies. Ask the factory for component weights and material descriptions where your supporting records are incomplete. Our packaging EPR reporting file guide helps organise that evidence.
Arrange instalments before the due dates
Pay by the dates on your notice. Payment is usually in quarterly instalments; use the amounts and dates actually shown. Available methods are direct debit, bank transfer, credit or debit card and standing order. Quarterly direct debit can be set up through the Stripe link on the notice.
If you are not paying by direct debit, contact customer support to set up a payment plan. Without this, you may receive automated reminders. Give finance a calendar of the agreed payments and nominate someone to check each payment has been made.
Verify bank details and payment references
For bank transfers, use the unique virtual bank account number on the notice’s information page. Copy any payment reference instructions from your own notice; if unclear, confirm them with customer support before sending money. Keep the notice, bank confirmation and your reconciliation record together.
SWIFT payments are not accepted. Finance should treat the notice as the invoice, but it is not a commercial invoice: PackUK will not provide a purchase order, VAT number or supplier portal registration. Flag this to accounts payable before its usual supplier checks delay payment.

Confirm group responsibility and resolve errors
For a group registration, the holding company is responsible for paying. Its notice contains a breakdown for each subsidiary. A compliance scheme cannot pay the notice on your behalf. Agree internally who reconciles the subsidiary entries and who authorises the holding company’s payment.
If you think the fee is wrong, first contact PackUK customer support. You must complain through the portal before appealing the fee to a tribunal. Continue paying the amounts on your current notice even if you expect a recalculation. Keep your query, supporting records and any revised notice together.
