China Golden Week 2026 and 2027: Dates and Factory Impact

National Day Golden Week is the extended break around China's National Day. Labour Day also has an extended holiday arrangement. Statutory days and the full break including weekends and adjusted working days are different.

Factory, shipping and reply impact

Sourcing planning advice: confirm each factory, office and warehouse closure separately. Ask suppliers for written closure dates; the public holiday does not establish each factory's production schedule.

  • Factories: confirm materials, production progress, inspection and packing before the break, and agree the dispatch date after reopening.
  • Shipping: ask the forwarder for actual booking, collection, warehouse, customs and carrier availability. Do not infer shipping cut-offs from the public holiday alone.
  • Replies: agree who is available during the break and send approval requests in advance. An office reply does not confirm that production or warehouse operations have restarted.
