How much does a 1530 ATC CNC router cost landed in the UK from China?

A 1530-class ATC CNC router with rotary axis from a Shandong manufacturer costs about €9,390 landed in the UK, roughly £8,050 at the HMRC rate for October 2026. That is the CIF proforma price of €9,206 to Felixstowe or Southampton plus about €184.12 of import duty at 2%. It is before UK port, customs clearance and delivery charges, and before import VAT, which VAT-registered buyers can normally reclaim.

What buyers miss

• The €68 sea freight line is unusually low for 13.3 m³. A low CIF freight figure is often recovered at the UK end, so get the UK destination agent's name and their full destination tariff before you pay the balance. At this size, compare LCL with a 20ft FCL.

• Book a pre-shipment inspection before the 70% balance: power-up, X, Y, Z, rotary and spindle movement, an ATC cycle, limit switches, the E-stop, a test cut, the accessories and the packing.
• Installation and commissioning: agree technician support, day rates and travel with the supplier in advance.
